The Kills just announced they would be releasing their fourth album “Blood Pressures” on April 2011. Here’s a clip of the upcoming album. I hope it’s as good as the previous ones, especially “Midnight Boom”.

Real-life couple Venezuelan artist Devendra Banhart and Rebecca Shwartz are the images of the new Oliver Peoples 2011 campaign for their sunglasses collection. The video is about authentic intimacy and sexuality and takes place on the legendary masterpiece Rainbow House, by architect John Lautner. Produced with photographer and aspiring director Lisa Eisner.

Álvaro de la Herrán is killing it!! The Spanish fashion videographer has done yet another great fashion film, this time for ELLE Magazine Spain. He had to show fur, denim and a Range Rover in a dessert, with one day and a half day to work, it rained a lot, but he came through with this piece.

I know, this is overdue, I’m sorry I’ve been idle and thank you for all of you who wrote me messages telling me how irresponsible I’ve been, and I’m not being sarcastic. Mea culpa. Well, Sevilla has been foggy and very cold (or at least more than usual), but now I’m loving what 2011 is going to mean for me.
I have so much to publish here, for example, I want to share with you an upcoming artist who just came across Russia to the USA to break it, and the girl is doing good so far. Also, I can’t wait to share everything about the Fashion Week in the Dominican Republic, which was joyful! More stuff going on and I hope to create a better link with all of you this year.
My voice in VANGUARDINK.com has been very distant and I think that’s not fun for a blog. I promise to change that this year and give you more insights than before. Thank you for making 2010 so special and surprise with such a quick embracement with this place.

Today, Disney decided to release the first trailer of the 4th movie of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise: “On Stranger Tides”. I guess it will be explosive with Johnny Depp and Penélope Cruz, but I felt kind of bad not seeing Orlando Bloom or Keira Knightley on it, I hope it’s as good as the the first two movies.
